I'm a 23 year old Fine Arts Major living in southern Ohio. I've always been a very creative and crafty person. Several months ago I began my first experiment with sewing stuffed animals and I fell in love with sewing. I like cute things and I like to make things. It seems to work out.
Aside from sewing, I am a photography major and I adore the dark room. Digital just doesn't do it for me. There's nothing like the smell of photo chemistry to brighten my day.
I'm an avid reader of young adult fantasy despite the fact that most people think I'm a bit old for it. Personally I don't think you're ever too old for any kind of book.
I live in Southern Ohio with my parents but Loverboy and I are house hunting in nearby Kentucky to try and find a place to start a family. It's tough to find anything two poor kids can afford.
I have three brothers, three nieces, a nephew, a slew of cousins, and two sisters-in-law. I like big families and I love children. That could perhaps be why I love to make stuffed animals. I love the idea of making something a child may grow to love and cherish. I love the idea of making something that might comfort a child when no one else can.
I'm hoping this blog helps me to advertise my Etsy store and to be a place where I can show off my creations to like minded individuals. Here's hoping.
